SBI PO Exam 2015: Details &pattern

The largest bank of India is state bank of India (SBI). It has more than 16,000 branch in india and overseas(outside india).it's total capital have 500$ billion dollar.
It conduct for probationary officers(PO) exam  every year for about 1500-2000 recruitment. 
Applications are available in month of April and Exam will be held in the month of June.
Candidates have to pay Rs.500/- for General & Others and Rs .100/- for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates through Online/ Offline Mode.



Eligibility Criteria:-
candidate must have passed graduate with 60% marks.
candidate age should between 21 to 30 years and SC, ST candidate have age relaxation of 5 years and OBC candidate age have relaxation for 3 years.


Exam will be consist in two stage:-

Stage I-written test(objective & descriptive)
Stage II-group discussion    & interview


Phase I:-written test:250 marks
The examination will consist of two parts. First part will consist of objective questions while second part will be e descriptive paper. objective paper are 200 marks.Descriptivec paper are 50 marks.

Part A (Objective Paper) 
1. Reasoning (High Level): 50 marks
2. Data Analysis and Interpretation: 50 marks
3. General Awareness, Marketing and Computers: 50 marks
4. English Language (Grammar, Vocabulary, Comprehension etc.): 50 marks                      
Objective paper  should finish with in 135 Minutes.
The objective test will be online. Immediately after online objective test, candidates will have to appear for Part B (Descriptive Test). Part B is a Paper/Pen mode exam.
Each question have 1 marks . and each incorrect answer (1/4 marks) deduct

Part B(Descriptive paper): 50 marks  
Descriptive paper will be the question on English language three questions have to be answered out of  four questions.

Descriptive paper contains duration of 60 minutes.
Descriptive paper will be (comprehension, short precis, letter writing & essay) .
Descriptive Test paper of only those candidates will be evaluated only for candidates who have who scored qualifying marks in Part A and are placed adequately high as per total marks in objective test.

The candidates are required to qualify in each of the parts and sub-parts by securing a minimum cut -off to be decided by the Bank.


Phase II:-Group Discussion & Interview: 50 marks
The aggregate marks of candidates qualifying in both the objective tests and descriptive test will be arranged in descending order in each category. Adequate number of candidates in each category, as decided by the Bank will be called for Group Discussion (20 marks) and Interview (30 marks). The qualifying marks in Group Discussion & Interview will be as decided by the Bank.
Candidates qualifying for GD & Interview under 'OBC' category are required to submit OBC certificate containing the 'Non Creamy layer' clause. Candidates not submitting the OBC certificate containing the 'Non Creamy layer' clause and requesting to be interviewed under General category will not be entertained.
The candidates will have to qualify both in Phase-I and Phase II separately.
Marks secured by the candidates in the Written Test (out of 250 marks) are converted to out of 75 and marks secured in Group Discussion & Interview (out of 50 marks) are converted to out of 25. The final merit list is prepared after aggregating converted marks of written test and group discussion & interview out of 100 for each category.
Results of the candidates who have qualified for Phase II and the list of candidates finally selected will be made available on the Bank's website. Final list of selected candidates will be published in Employment News/Rozgar Samachar.
