This is a simple audio
amplifier circuit that is easy to build and has few components. This circuit is
built around the LM386 audio
amplifier integrated circuit, that can
be used with a small 9 volt Battery Operated, Current use as little as 5
milliamps. and amplification up to 500 mW.
The LM386 is an audio
amplifier designed for use in low voltage consumer applications. The gain
is internally set to 20 to keep external part count low, but the addition
of an external resistor and capacitor between pins 1 and 8 will increase
the gain to any value from 20 to 200.
This audio amplifier module
can be used to play your FM receiver kit, make infrared based music
transmitter and receiver, etc.
